Step into timeless sophistication at Riverwalk Event Venue, where European charm meets modern luxury. The grey stone and stucco exterior is gracefully accented with flickering gas lanterns and a rich, knotty alder double-entry door. Soaring spired roofs and a dramatic turret complete the old-world aesthetic, offering a breathtaking first impression for your special event.
Inside, guests are welcomed by a grand entry hall featuring natural slate floors and opulent baroque-inspired lighting. Our venue features four beautifully appointed, gender-neutral suites designed with comfort, function, and elegance in mind. Two of these are tailored for pre-event relaxation and professional hair and makeup preparation, each including a private, spacious restroom. The turret offers a picturesque setting, ideal for capturing timeless photographs of the wedding party or event guests.
The main space boasts 20-foot ceilings and six 10-foot arched windows that flood the room with natural light, creating an airy, romantic atmosphere. The Carriage House provides a charming and versatile setting for rehearsal dinners, showers, or smaller private events, making it the perfect complement to our larger venue spaces.
Additional amenities include the elegant Green Room, which is ideal for event preparation, vendor storage, or breakout sessions during corporate gatherings. At the heart of the venue lies the nearly 3,000-square-foot Grand Hall, suitable for lavish receptions, formal galas, or professional business events.

The Riverwalk Event Venue is unlike any other stand-alone event venue in this region. With its old-world European warmth and sophisticated charm, the unique architectural design invokes a feeling of “home” while old- world décor gives the venue a slight medieval feel upon entry and throughout. We are located within Riverwalk – a 1000 acre live/work/play community in northern Rock Hill, South Carolina.
We offer the simplicity & convenience of hosting all your special occasions – from weddings, receptions and anniversary celebrations, to family reunions, cocktail parties and corporate retreats – in one stunning location.
The GroundsFrom the Grand Hall, five sets of eight-foot French doors lead to the 1,200-square-foot covered patio, perfect for more intimate gatherings and special occasions. The breathtaking grounds at The Riverwalk Event Venue feature a back lawn and lush landscape that overlooks the beautiful Catawba River and the Carolina Thread Trail. This portion of the trail in North and South Carolina runs alongside 2.25 miles of scenic river, offering fantastic photographic opportunities.

From I-77 South:
Exit 83 Sutton Road and take a left at light over I-77. Approx 1/2 mile turn right on Hwy 21 south. Cross bridge/river and take first left onto Dunkin's Ferry Road into Riverwalk. Follow signage in community.
